THE SCIENCE AND ART OF BEING RECRUITED

Being successfully recruited is both a science and an art. A PSA (prospective student athlete) must register with the NCAA clearinghouse, meet academic requirements and be seen by coaches. As the process continues applications and paperwork are part of the “science” part. You need to complete one step to move on to the next.

The “art” of being recruited allows you to be you. How you present yourself matters. Be timely, attentive and excited about visits. Be competitive at showcases, camps, practices and games. Carry yourself with class. Coaches want good athletes with great character. and character is an art!
